Ya, you can do a clean install using uagprde media, you need to have a previous version disk though. If you have a win 95, 98, ME, or 2000 disk, uagprde or full version, just start the install of XP, format the drive when it allows you to, and it will ask at some point for you to put in the disk of the previous version.
